ABOUT

Mark Fleuridor is a Miami born artist that explores storytelling through painting, quilting, and collage. He received his BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2019. Fleuridor's work has been exhibited at the Untitled Art Fair, Future Fair, and Crisp-Ellert Art Museum. He has created public art projects at Quail Roost Transit Village and MSC Cruises, both located in Miami, FL. Fleuridor was a recipient of the 2022 Knight Champion Award, 2020 Oolite Arts Ellies Award and the 2020 Red Bull Artist Grant. He has also completed artist residencies at the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn, NY; Art Omi in Ghent NY; Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Aspen, CO; and Oxbow Artist Residency in Saugatuck, MI. Fleuridor has been a visiting lecturer at multiple institutions including Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA)  and Florida International University (FIU).
