A Season of Sharing is a series depicting my family members holding and embracing mangos. Growing up, I was surrounded by fruit and vegetable trees that my parents lovingly tended to. During mango season, they would always share the fruit with family, neighbors, and even strangers. This act of generosity, community building and kindness inspired this series of quilts.
